Product Information

Mode of Action

Glufosinate and Glufosinate-P (HRAC Group 10) inhibit the enzyme glutamine synthetase in plant tissues. This leads to the toxic accumulation of ammonia, disruption of photosynthesis, cell destruction, and rapid desiccation of susceptible weed species upon foliar contact.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa spp.
  • Digitaria spp.
  • Setaria spp.
  • Eleusine indica
  • Amaranthus spp.
  • Chenopodium album
  • Parthenium hysterophorus
  • Cyperus spp.

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop / Area Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Orchards, Plantation Crops, Vineyards & Non-crop Areas Annual and perennial grasses & broadleaf weeds Apply as a post-emergence spray on actively growing weeds as per the recommended label dosage. Ensure uniform spray coverage and avoid contact with the green parts of desirable crops.
For specific g/ha dosage rates and local water volume recommendations across orchards, vineyards, and non-crop sites, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Post-Emergence Active Growth Timing
Apply as a foliar post-emergence spray when annual/perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds are actively growing to ensure optimum absorption, rapid tissue desiccation, and complete burndown.
2. Directed Foliar Coverage & Crop Protection
Ensure thorough and uniform spray coverage across target weeds using calibrated spray equipment. As a non-selective herbicide, use spray shields or directed nozzles to avoid contact with non-target green foliage, shoots, or bark of desirable crops.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Non-selective herbicide; avoid spray drift onto desirable crops, non-target plants, and nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
